SARAH TENNEY ART
Narrative Artist, Illustrator

AN ARTIST'S JOURNEY
Sarah Tenney is a narrative artist who thrives on story. Her varied interests led her to study at multiple secondary schools, earning a BFA in painting and a post-graduate certificate publishing. Over the last 20 years, her art evolved from highly textured mixed media abstract paintings to metaphorical representational works of people and animals; currently she enjoys making illustrative watercolor dioramas, among other things. Sarah has shown in dozens of exhibits, from galleries to alternative spaces to festivals. Her collectors can be found across the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
Sarah enjoys the quiet life and delights in stimulating conversations, good books, kayaking, and game nights. She lives in Denver with her husband, their two precocious boys, and a pair of personable cats.

...in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
